Free intro lesson, then 4 lessons prepaid: $200 (30 min), $300 (45 min), or $400 (60 min). See the Rates & Hours page.
Where are you located?
West Highlands neighborhood of Denver, CO. Private home studio, by appointment only. See Rates & Hours for details.
Do you come to my location for lessons?
I only teach lessons out of my studio and do not do house calls. However, all lessons are available online via Zoom.
What days & hours do you teach?
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and every other Thursday from late morning until 10pm. No weekends. See Rates & Hours.
Do you teach on weekends?
I do not teach on weekends.
Are you accepting new students?
Yes. I can always make room for new students.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal Friends & Family. Physical check also accepted. Cash possible but discouraged. Credit cards are NOT accepted.
Do you teach group lessons?
Group lessons are available for pre-arranged groups (family, friends, bands). The group is charged the same hourly rate as individual lessons. I also teach group workshops.
How long have you been teaching?
I have been teaching part time since 2001 and full time since 2004. I'm a master music teacher with over 22,000 hours teaching private lessons.
How many students do you have?
I usually have about 30+ students on my schedule. Most come once a week, some every other week.
Do you teach electric guitar?
Yes. I teach both acoustic and electric guitar.
I don't have a guitar. Can you help me figure out what to buy?
Yes. You can use one of my guitars at your free intro lesson, and we can talk about what guitar is best for your budget and goals. See guitar lessons for details.
What instruments do you teach?
Singing/voice/vocal, acoustic & electric guitar, piano & keyboard, bass guitar, and ukulele. Plus group workshops in mindful music, songwriting, and home studio recording.
Can I take lessons in more than one instrument?
Yes. You can learn multiple instruments in any combination at any point in your lessons.
What ages do you teach?
Adults of any age (you are never too old) and kids starting between 5-7 years old.
